Kendra Scott Unveils New Bespoke Engagement Rings at a Price for Young Couples – Expanding Her Wedding World
FEarly two decades ago, Austin-based jewelry designer Kendra Scott launched her eponymous line with stylish affordability in mind, filling what she saw as the lack of quality styles and stones compatible with wallets. Since Monday, Kendra Scott has taken a new step in this direction by presenting The Engagement Collection.
The 11-piece collection features lab-grown diamonds in color F (colorless), VS2 in the clarity range and available in carat weights from 0.5 to 2 carats. The beauty of these beautiful rings is that they come in a variety of designs and golds – and cost between $1,350 and $8,150. And that hits the sweet spot for a lot of young couples.
Clients create the ring of their dreams with the choice of a solitaire, halo or signature silhouette with a traditional round, oval or emerald cut center stone. It’s a bespoke client experience with a diamond expert on hand to guide the engaged couple or anxious groom through the design process. All rings are made to order with an estimated delivery time of three weeks.
The collection reveal includes the news that a singular yellow sapphire – “representing joy, optimism and a bright future” – will be placed on the bridge of each solitaire setting, or burnished at the base of iconic halo rings.
“For 20 years, our clients have invited us to be part of their wedding journeys. The launch of Kendra Scott’s Engagement Collection will allow us to be the wedding destination of the happily ever after proposal,” Kendra Scott, founder, designer and executive chairwoman of her namesake brand, said in a statement. “When creating this collection, we challenged ourselves to consider every detail.
“Fundamental to our design process, each ring can be personalized and curated to match each couple’s unique love story.”
The Engagement Collection is available at select Kendra Scott stores, including the South Congress Flagship in Austin, the Dallas Preston Center store, and the Kendra Scott store at Houston Heights Mercantile.
The collection marks the second new category expansion this year for Kendra Scott following the successful introduction of watches and watchbands in April.
